THE FOUNDATION / PHIL DUNMORE
Scuderia Milano is newly established. The experience that shaped it belongs to Phil’s earlier work with exceptional motorcars.
Before this name existed, there were cars to live with, cars to consider buying and cars to prepare. An F40 whose mechanical life was documented in the workshop. An Alfa Romeo race car inspected in Monaco before an investment decision. A GT40 whose set-up for Goodwood demanded attention below the bodywork.
Today, that same attention continues through the Scuderia portfolio: the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Competizione file, an Aston Martin Vanquish and two F355 Spiders. Each case has its own role, evidence and open questions. The car is never reduced to an attractive image or a borrowed history.
01 / THE OWNER’S VIEW · FERRARI F40
Phil’s former F40 is preserved in a personal ownership and workshop archive. Bodywork open, engine exposed, details recorded: the story reaches beyond the silhouette.

02 / THE PROSPECTIVE BUYER · MONACO, 2016
Phil consulted on this Alfa Romeo racing car while considering it as an investment. He carried out a full inspection in Monaco in 2016. The photographs preserve the questions asked of the car itself, from its cockpit to its exposed mechanical details.
Its number 14 and Arturo Merzario lettering match a 2012 Monaco Historique entry for a 1935 Alfa Romeo 8C-35. That entry gives a historical lead; the chassis identity and originality still need their own records. This account makes no claim of purchase or race result.

03 / THE WORKSHOP · FORD GT40
Phil helped with a GT40 racing car’s preparation and set-up. The technical photographs follow the suspension, brakes, cooling, cockpit and Ford V8 that sit behind the race-ready shape.

THE PERSONAL ARCHIVE / BEFORE SCUDERIA MILANO
